Calculations stay in your browser

Paycheck Spot calculators run in your browser. Pay amounts and other inputs you enter are used to compute estimates on your device and are not stored on our servers for calculation purposes.

Cookies & local storage

• Location preference cookie (ph_geo_country): set from approximate IP country (when available) so we can show the right tax market by default. This is an essential product feature.
• Saved market (ph_preferred_country in localStorage): remembers the country you choose in the switcher.
• Theme preference (ph_theme in localStorage): light, dark, or system — set from the header toggle.
• Cookie consent (ph_cookie_consent): stores whether you accepted analytics/ads cookies (shown for EU/UK visitors).

Analytics & advertising

If Google Analytics 4 or Google AdSense is enabled on this site, those scripts load only after you accept non-essential cookies (or, outside EU/UK consent flows, according to the settings we configure). Ads are never placed above calculator results. You can choose “Essential only” in the consent banner to block analytics and ads.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA-style requests)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because calculators do not upload your pay figures, the main data we might hold is cookie/consent preferences and ordinary web server or analytics logs (when enabled).
