Use this Punjab paycheck calculator to estimate take-home pay after Pakistan FBR income tax for salaried persons (FY 2025-26). Enter monthly salary (or hourly wages) and see an estimated net.
Pakistan income tax on salary is federal — provinces do not add a US-style state wage tax in this model. Region pages help with local context and SEO.
Punjab hosts large private-sector employers in Lahore, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala — monthly salary culture is the norm.
Results are planning estimates only — not FBR advice or an official payslip.
FBR salaried tax slabs (FY 2025-26)
Annual taxable salary up to Rs 600,000 is exempt. Higher bands use progressive rates (1% → 35%) with fixed amounts at the start of each slab. A 9% surcharge may apply when annual taxable income exceeds Rs 10,000,000.
Punjab regional note
Punjab hosts large private-sector employers in Lahore, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala — monthly salary culture is the norm. Income tax itself follows the same federal FBR table nationwide for salaried persons in this calculator.
What is not auto-deducted
EOBI and many benefit deductions are employer/policy specific. Add them under Other deductions if you want them reflected in net pay.
Overtime in Punjab
Pakistan overtime is often calculated at double the ordinary rate for hours beyond normal limits under factories and shops rules. Use the overtime calculator for gross OT, then this paycheck tool for tax estimates.
Example: Rs 150,000 monthly salary in Punjab
Enter Rs 150,000 monthly with Punjab selected to see FBR tax estimates on an annualized Rs 1,800,000 salary. Compare with another province page using the same gross — tax should be similar because the model is federal.
